I'm Osman BaÅŸkurt. For many years, I've always admired Turkish swords and their artistry, as well as blacksmithing. From a young age, I've studied and researched these unique works of art, both in terms of the artistry they possess, the materials they're made from, and their construction techniques. Since 2013, I've been working professionally to bring you these works of art, in line with their historical forms and structures, based on my technical and theoretical knowledge and researches. Since then, I've remained passionately dedicated to my work and continually improving myself, because in our professions, apprenticeship and learning never end.
Mission
My mission is to help you discover the art of reviving historical Ottoman swords, where a passion for history meets craftsmanship. My goal is to preserve the rich Ottoman blacksmithing culture and ensure the beauty and tradition of this ancient craft are passed on to future generations. On this journey to honor the legacy of Ottoman swordsmiths, I aim to remain faithful to the historical essence of each work I produce and to allow you to experience the blend of history and art in each of my handcrafted creations. Therefore, I am constantly exploring this path and pushing this sacred profession to its fullest potential. Because in this kind of work, apprenticeship never ends.
